Uplifting Poetry and Music

As if in response to the present conflict and stress in our world, Carol Mays and Gary Blanchard present a unique program of beautiful and uplifting poetry and music. The one-hour program is meant to soothe the spirit and remind us of a broader and deeper sense of reality.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Uplifting Poetry and Music

On Saturday, August 17, at 1:00 p.m., Carol Mays and Gary Blanchard will be presenting a free program of uplifting, beautiful images expressed through poetry and music. The hour-long program celebrates nature, connections, fantasy, magic, hope, and play. Gary and Carol have been performing and creating books, CD’s, and DVD’s for many years. Carol’s book, Uplifting Poems, and Gary’s CD, Uplifting Songs, will be available for those who are interested.
